Razorlight - In The Morning

And so we begin another chapter of the life and times, trials and tribulations of these lovely rogues. The first song off the new self entitled album, kick starts another wave off emotionally filled tales. In The Morning, is your a-typical Razorlight tune, Johnny Borrell, with his screeching, scratchy, razor sharp voice effortlessly bouncing from one side of the void to the other. As opening songs go, this is a beauty! The ensemblance of this piece has the get up and dance till your sick feel to it. Andy Borrows providing a deep, resounding, dancey drum rhythm which supports and holds the track firmly in place from the off. Carlos and Agren providing the moreish fillings which without would leave this track lying like a dying rabbit, squashed to buggered, in the middle of a busy motorway!

In The Morning you know you wont remember a thing! How very true! Hands up who, the night before got so battered that inevitably you did something stupid and embarrassing, yet can't for the life remember what you did! Until that is you see one of your mates and everything is reveal, and you suddenly feel about 2' 5"! (ouch!)

(If you dont get up and dance to this number I'll personally go round to your girlfiends/boyfriends house and tell them exactly what you got up to last night! Remember - you, the chauffeur, the bucket of fish!!!!! Dont think Im bluffing as Ive got photographic evidence!!!!)

Buy the album! You wont be disappointed!
